Dr. Kate Jackson provides evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adults and families. She has been a registered psychologist since 2009. She is Authorised in Denmark by Psykolognævnet (Autoriseret Psykolog) and maintains her registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Dr. Jackson specialises in providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – one of the most widely researched evidence-based treatment methods in psychotherapy. She has particular expertise in the treatment of insomnia and sleep difficulties in adults, children and infants, and behavioural difficulties in young children. She is the only certified provider of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in Denmark. Dr. Jackson also provides cognitive and psycho-educational assessments for learning difficulties and giftedness, and works closely with a number of private schools throughout Denmark.
Dr. Jackson is a guest lecturer at Copenhagen University in the areas of sleep and child clinical psychology, and a supervisor to postgraduate students in their final practicum. She is on the board of the Danish Association of CBT (SAKT), and a member of the PCIT International Development Taskforce.
