At the Little White House, we have a broad selection of experienced and competent psychologists. We have therapists from 8 different countries and offer therapy in 7 different languages.
All of our psychologists are either authorized (the highest level of licensure available in Denmark) or working toward authorization.
The right to obtain authorisation as a psychologist is conditional upon the psychologist having obtained a master’s degree in psychology or an equivalent degree and that the psychologist has subsequently undergone a supplemental practical training programme for a period of at least two years. The programme which forms the basis for becoming an authorised psychologist is a practical further education and training programme aimed at ensuring that the public receives qualified services from psychologists.
The Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice – Psykologneænet
To help make our experience and qualifications clear, we have three levels:
- Senior Psychologists – psychologists with authorization from the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice and at least 10 years experience post licensure
- Authorized Psychologists – psychologists with Authorization from the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice (minimum of two years supervised practice)
- Psychologists – working toward Authorization with the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice
Most of our psychologist are also engaged in teaching, research and supervision of other professionals.
